Doi Pui (Hmong Tribal Village)

It was the wonderful time to visit Hmong Tribal Village. This was the first time for me to visit Doi Pui. The weather was cold, cause of thing which I have liked it so much that is the very nice of atmosphere. There are many beautiful natural things wait you to visit, And the most important it is not too far from Wat Prathat Doi Suthep and Bhubing Palace.
Therefore probably not as authentic as it could be, it still offers an insight into how Thailand’s tribes live. The villagers wear traditional Hmong clothes, sell traditional Hmong handicrafts, and live in traditional Hmong-style homes. However, those looking for a less contrived view of the Hmong may have to go deeper into Chiang Mai! Worth a visit if you have the time. A visit to the Tribal Village is often combined with a visit to Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep and some of the waterfalls in the area, as well as a jaunt to the Hill Tribes Museum.

Bhubing Palace

Bhubing Palace is a Royal Residence located Doi Buak Ha, Muang District, Chiang Mai Province. It is over Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep and usually open for visiting only Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holiday.
History of Bhubing Palace
It was built in 1961 to accommodate the royal family during state visits to the north of the country. There is also a guesthouse for receiving foreign dignitaries. It is built in the mountains overlooking Chiang Mai, to take advantage of the cool mountain air. The rose gardens are particularly famous Suan Suwaree, and many flowers are grown here that could not otherwise be grown in Thailand.

Phra Tamnak Bhubing Rajanives was built in central Thai architectural style called “Reun Mu” Group of Houses. The building sits on stilts. Wat(temple) Phrathat Doi Suthep
Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep is the one of my favorite buddhist temple. Whenever I visit there, I will be happy. I can see the view of Muang Chiang Mai and there are many traveler from many country visit here. The temple is located 15 km from the city of Chiang Mai and is a sacred site to many Thai people. From the temple impressive views of Chiang Mai can be seen and it remains a popular destination of foreign visitors.

History of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep
The temple is said to have been founded in 1383 when the first chedi was built. Over time the temple has expanded, and been made to look more extravagant with many more holy shrines added. A road to the temple was first built in 1935.

Wat PhraSingh

Wat PhraSingh is one of beautiful buddhist temple in my opinion. It is located in Muang District, Chiang Mai Province. This was the first time for me to visit there, even though I often pass these area, but I have never visited it before.
This temple contains supreme examples of Lanna art. A chedi was first built by King Pha Yu (r.1337-55) to house the bones of his father King Kam Fu (r.1328- 37). The original name of the temple was Wat Li Chiang Phra but this was changed to Wat Phra Singh when the Phra Sihing Buddha image was first housed there in 1367.

The temple was almost certainly abandoned before Kawila re-established it by building the ubosot, and rebuilding the chedi. Chao Thammalangka (r.1813-21) and his successor, Chao Kham Fan (r. 1821-1825) further added (or rebuilt) the Viharn Lai Kham and the elegant scripture library building. Further renovations were carried out in the 1920's when Khru Ba Srivichai supervised the construction of the present main viharn and rebuilt the chedi. The ubosot and scripture library were renovated in 1929.
